Golden Triangle Birding Tour

Agra-National Chambal Sanctuary
Introduction: Travel Point India takes you on a bird watching trail to some of the popular sanctuaries along its famed golden triangle route through its Golden Triangle Birding Tour. En-route you visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary a birdwatcher's paradise. Golden Triangle Birding Tour also takes you to Fatehpur Sikri, Ranthambore National Park and the city of Taj Mahal-Agra.

Day 01 Agra-Patna Bird Park-Agra

Transfer to hotel after reaching Agra at 0600 hrs, then drive to Patna Bird Park for bird watching. You can see a number of rosy pelicans, waders, ducks, cranes etc. Return to Agra at 1530 hrs and visit Taj Mahal (Friday closed). Night stay at the hotel.

Day 02 Agra-National Chambal Sanctuary (B, PACKED LUNCH)

Early morning drive to National Chambal Sanctuary with breakfast and packed lunch. Take a boat ride on river Chambal and see different birds like the Indian skimmer, black-bellied tern, bar-headed goose and other waterfowl. Return to Agra for night stay.

Day 03 Agra-Fathepur Sikri-Bharatpur (B)

Move to Bharatpur in the morning and en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri. Reach Bharatpur and after lunch take a bird tour with a guide in the wetlands of Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Night stay at the hotel.

Day 04 Bharatpur

Spend your day at one of the most popular bird sanctuaries in India. Bharatpur is a haven for avian fauna and a paradise for bird watchers. The sanctuary teems with birds and is one of the few places where you can see Siberian cranes in winter. Enjoy a boat ride in morning and see different species of birds and spend rest of the day watching birds with a guide. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Ranthambore National Park

Day 05 Bharatpur- Ranthambore National Park (L, D)

Drive to one of the finest tiger reserves in northern India-Ranthambore National Park in the morning, which is about a six-hour drive. Visit the park in the afternoon for tiger tracking. Night stay in a wildlife resort.

Day 06 Ranthambore National Park-Delhi (B)

Take morning and afternoon jeep/open truck safaris for birding and tiger tracking. Take overnight air-conditioned train to Delhi 2110 hrs.

Day 07 Delhi-Onward Destination

Arrive in Delhi at 0600 hrs.

Tour ends.

You can also extend your tour to Jaipur.
