Introduction: Travel Point India takes you to on a Hindu Pilgrimage Tour. Discover the Hindu way of life as you touch base in Haridwar and enjoy the 'Aarati' there. The Hindu Pilgrimage Tour further leads you to the origins of the holy Ganges and Yamuna. The tour also takes you to Kedarnath and Badrinath.
DAY 01 - ARRIVE DELHI
Our representative will welcome you at the airport and will guide you to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 02 - DELHI
Sightseeing tour of New Delhi, where you will be taken to Qutab Minar, Laxmi Narayan Temple India Gate, Parliament House. In the afternoon visit the monuments of historical importance in Old Delhi like Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Humayun Tomb and Gandhi memorial. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 03 - DELHI - HARIDWAR
Drive to Haridwar and check-in at a hotel after reaching Haridwar. Visit Har - Ki - Pauri, and enjoy the 'Aarti' in the evening. The 'Aarti' at Haridwar is a wonderful experience, when the bank of the Ganges come alive with the sounds of chants and bells. It is a wonderful sight to see a number of 'Diyas' twinkle as they float in the Ganges. Return to hotel for night stay.
DAY 04 - HARIDWAR - SYANA CHATTI
Drive to Syana Chatti on the bank of the river Yamuna and enjoy the scenic beauty of the place. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 05 - SYANA CHATTI - YAMUNOTRI - SYANA CHATTI
Move on to Hanuman Chatti, which is about at a distance of five-kilometers. Hanuman Chatti is the confluence of the Hanuman Ganga and the Yamuna. Start your trek to Yamunotri, which is about 13 kilometers. Visit the Yamunotri temple, which was built by Maharani Gularia of Jaipur in the 19th century, but was destroyed and re-built again. There are a number of thermal springs in the vicinity of the temple. Trek back to Syana Chatti.
DAY 06 - SYANA CHATTI - UTTARKASHI
Proceed to Uttarkashi via Badkot. Situated at the bank of the Bhagirathi, Uttarkashi has a number of temples that include the Lord Vishwanath temple, Ekadash Rudra, Bhairav, Gyaneshwar and Goddess Kuteti Devi. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 07 - UTTARKASHI - GANGOTRI - UTTARKASHI
Move on to Gangotri by road. Visit Gangotri Temple on the right bank of the Bhagirathi, which was built by the Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the 18th Century. Another mythical interesting place to watch is Submerged Shivling, the place where Lord Shiva received the Ganga in his matted lock. Other interesting places are Kedar Ganga Sangam and Gaumukh. Either check-in at a hotel at Gangotri or head back to Uttarkashi.
DAY 08 - UTTARKASHI - RUDRAPRAYAG
Drive to Rudraprayag after early breakfast, and overnight stay at Skylark's Resort at Rudraprayag. Visit the temples at Rudraprayag.
DAY 09 - RUDRAPRAYAG - GAURIKUND - KEDARNATH
Proceed to Gaurikund by road. Bath in hot water pond and visit Gauri Temple. Trek to Kedarnath and visit temple at Kedarnath. Kedarnath is another name of Lord Shiva.
DAY 10 - KEDARNATH - GAURIKUND - RUDRAPRAYAG
Trek back to Gaurikund (14kms) and then drive to Rudraprayag. Check in at a resort at Rudraprayag. Overnight stay at the resort.
DAY 11 - RUDRAPRAYAG - JOSHIMATH
Drive to Joshimath, which is situated the confluence of Alaknanda and Dhauliganga. Joshimath is one of the four 'maths' established by Adi Shankaracharya. Explore Joshimath and overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 12 - JOSHIMATH - BADRINATH
Proceed to Badrinath via Govind Ghat. Badrinath is one of the char dhams in Uttranchal and is situated at a height of 3,133 meters, flanked on either side by the two mountains known as Nar and Narayan with the Neelkanth Peak at the back. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 13 - BADRINATH - GOVINDGHAT
Drive down to Govindghat and enjoy the scenic beauty of the place. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 14 - GOVINDGHAT - HARIDWAR - DELHI
Drive back to Haridwar in time to catch the Shatabdi Express to Delhi. On arrival, check in at hotel. Night stay at hotel.
DAY 15 - DELHI DEPARTURE
Proceed to airport to catch a flight for your onward destination. Tour ends.
