Day 01 - Arrive Trivandrum - Kovalam
Arrive at Trivandrum airport and transfer to hotel. Tirvandrum or Thiruvananthapuram as it is known is the capital of Kerala. Spend your day enjoying sun, surf and sand at the Kovalam beach. Pamper your senses with herbal body toning massage at the nearby Ayurvedic centers.
Day 02 - Kovalam - Cape Comorin - Kovalam
Next morning head to Padmanabhapuram Palace and Archeological museum. Drive back to Kovalam in the evening and spend the night in the luxury of the hotel.
Day 03 - Kovalam - Kumarakom
Proceed to Kumarakom, the famed backwater country and then make yourself comfortable in this small town. Refresh and then head to on a boat ride on a tour of the countryside. Visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. If it is adventure sports that you like, you can spend time in windsailing, canoeing and water skiing. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04 - Kumarakom - Periyar
The landscape changes as you head to Periyar. It is a beautiful journey through spice plantations and open grasslands. On arrival check into hotel. Relax and refresh. Night stay at the hotel.
Day 05 - Periyar
The day is marked for the Periyar Tiger Reserve Sanctuary. Spend your day watching the life and habits of wild animals at the sanctuary. You can also trek to see some rare species of birds and flowers but in the company of a guide. A boat safari and a tour to spice plantations are other interesting activities reserved for the day. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06 - Periyar - Alleppey - Backwater
Proceed to Alleppy in the morning, and board the traditionally decorated houseboats for your 01 night backwater cruise, which will take you to Kottayam.
Day 07 - Kottayam - Cochin
Open your eyes on the cruise at Kottayam. Transfer to hotel in Cochin. Afterwards, city tour, covering the important tourist attractions like Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Dutch and Palace. Enjoy Kathakali dance show in the evening. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 - Cochin - Departure
Transfer to airport to catch flight for your onward destination. Tour ends.
