DAY 01: ARRIVE BHUBANESWAR

Our representative will greet you at the airport and take you to the hotel. After check-in, the day is yours, spend the way you like it, explore the temple city or simply relax at the hotel. Spend the night at the hotel.

DAY 02: BHUBANESWAR

In the morning head for the sightseeing tour of the temple city, which is also the capital of Orissa. Begin your tour by visiting Bindusagar and proceed to Brahmeswar Temple. The temple is beautifully carved with figures of gods and goddesses and other religious symbols. Other important temples in and around Bhubaneswar on the sightseeing tour are the Mukteswar Temple, Kedareswar Temple and Parasurameswara Temple. Head to Dhauli in the second half. Dhauli has a close connection with Ashoka the great. It is the site of Shanti Stupa and Ashokan Rock edicts on a hillock. Proceed to Pipli, a small village known for brightly colored appliqué work. Shop for some exquisite items like bedspreads, bags, beach umbrellas, lampshades etc. Night stay at the hotel.

DAY 03: BHUBANESWAR - CUTTACK

Drive to Cuttack, just 29 kilometers from Bhubaneswar. Check-in at the hotel and after head for a city tour. Proceed to Barabati Fort on the bank of river Mahanadi and then visit Quandam-I-Rasool, the holy shrine both for Muslims and Hindus. Night stay at the hotel.

DAY 04: CUTTACK - NARAJ - PARADIP - CUTTACK

Drive to Naraj, which is a beautiful picnic spot and known as famous Buddhist Center. Afterwards head to one of the major seaport in India, Paradip. Spend your time on the sea beach, which is its major attraction. Back to Cuttack in the late evening, night stay at the hotel.

DAY 05: CUTTACK - RATNAGIRI - LALITGIRI - UDAYGIRI -CUTTACK

The day is marked for some of the wonderful tourist attractions around Cuttack that include Ratnagiri, Lalitgiri and Udaygiri. These three hills form a beautiful Buddhist complex with beautifully carved sculptors and images of the Buddha. Return to Cuttack in the evening for night stay.

DAY 06: CUTTACK - DHENKANAL

Drive to Dhenkanal, and check-in at the hotel. Dhenkanal is gateway to the forest cover of Orissa. The forest is home to many wild animals that include tigers, elephants and numerous species of birds. The place also well known for the Balbhadra Temple built in 1700 AD. Visit Saptasajya, the place is believed to be associated with the Pandavas, the mythical characters in the epic Mahabharata. Back to Dhenkanal, night stay at the hotel.

DAY 07: DHENKANAL - KAPILAS - DHENKANAL

Drive to Kapilas on a day trip. Kapilas is just 26 kilometers from Dhenkanal. It is one of the beautiful spots. Visit the temple of Lord Shiva 'Chandrashekhar' at a height of about 457 mts, which is approachable by a flight of 1351 steps and a ghat road. Other interesting places are the Deer Park and Science Park. Back to Dhenkanal for night stay.

DAY 08: DHENKANAL - TIKARPARA - DHENKANAL

Head on a day's excursion trip to the tiny village of Tikarpada, which is about 120 kilometres from Dhenkanal. Treat your eyes to some of the beautiful sights of the Satkosia gorge, one of the mightiest gorges in India. The place is good for trekking and boating. Return to Dhenkanal for night stay.

DAY 09: DHENKANAL - KONARK - PURI

Travel to one of the most popular destination in Orissa-Puri, en-route visit Konark, famous world over for Sun Temple, designed in the form of a chariot with 24 wheels. Drive to Puri and check-in at the hotel. Later, spend the day, the way you like it. Puri is well known for its annual festival of chariots, the Rath Yatra. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 10: PURI

Start your tour by visiting the Jagannath Temple, a 12th century temple and a classic example of the Kalinga style of architecture. Visit other temples that include the temples of Goddess Vimala and Vishnu. Explore Anand Bazar, one of the biggest food markets in the world.

DAY 11: PURI - CHILIKA LAKE - PURI

Head to Chilika Lake, one of the largest brackish water lakes in India and haven to a number of resident and migratory birds. There are many islands on the lake but Barkul and Rambha are two places that serve as a base. Some of the popular islands Kalijai, Nalabana, Honeymoon and Breakfast islands. After spending your day head back to Puri. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 12: PURI - GOPALPUR-ON-SEA

This is the day to see the beach beauty. One of the most popular beaches, Gopalpur-on-Sea invites you to indulge in frolic and fun on its beaches. After check-in you can head for the beach and entertain yourself with various beach activities. Night stay at the hotel.

DAY 13: GOPALPUR-ON-SEA - BHUBANESWAR

Head back to Bhubaneswar airport to catch a flight to your onward destination. Tour ends.
